Wordfence plugin: WordPress + Caddy v2 webserver

Wordfence is arguably the most popular security plugin for WordPress. If you’ve configured Caddy as a webserver to serve WordPress PHP files and have installed the Wordfence plugin in WordPress, you will invariably be presented with the following prompt:

  1. Select CLICK HERE TO CONFIGURE and you’ll see the following dialogue box:

  1. Clicking on the dropdown box, you’re presented with a number of options: Caddy, however, is not an option.

  1. In lieu of Caddy, select NGINX instead.

  1. This will allow you to complete the optimisation of the Wordfence firewall.
