Wordfence is arguably the most popular security plugin for WordPress. If you’ve configured Caddy as a webserver to serve WordPress PHP files and have installed the Wordfence plugin in WordPress, you will invariably be presented with the following prompt:
- Select CLICK HERE TO CONFIGURE and you’ll see the following dialogue box:
- Clicking on the dropdown box, you’re presented with a number of options: Caddy, however, is not an option.
- In lieu of Caddy, select NGINX instead.
- This will allow you to complete the optimisation of the Wordfence firewall.
