Swytch is a leaderless, distributed, serializable database/cache. I’ve attempted to submit two modules but there is a snag with one:
- GitHub - swytchdb/caddy-storage: A caddy storage implementation using Swytch as the distributed storage layer · GitHub – this integrates with the storage engine directly but is compatible with our Redis implementation as well. This one submitted fine.
- GitHub - swytchdb/caddy-swytch · GitHub – this exposes a local Redis instance running on the Swytch Engine. I was unable to actually submit this to the package directory though (see: https://github.com/caddyserver/moduledoc/pull/3 – which is still awaiting review after a week).
We offer hosted backups and offline disk durability as paid addons; but in-memory + infinitely distributed (even multi-region) is free forever and AGPL licensed.
