i cannot install links caddy. defender will not let me open the exe file. what am i doing wrong?

oops sorry i am a bit new to this stuff it took me ages to find out to reply. my problem is that i recently had some work done on my system. My Links 2003 golf game is now not working properly. my big problems is i am plagued with mouse traces. the links help suggested caddy could help.. I have tried disabling defender but know help. They (Links help) tried sending me the link in Dropbox. still cannot open getting blocked by my security stuff. apparently there is a portion of links caddy which installs Voodoo. i have downloaded the suggested file but i cannot get it to make any changes to my Links file. i have joined the Links 2003 community but cannot find how to try and get help.

None of this makes sense, and I’m inclined to believe this is a troll post. There’s no way this game requires Caddy; and if caddy was ever mentioned to you in relation to the game, then it’s probably the caddy car in the game or whatever.

i can assure you this is a genuine plea for help. my pc has an INTEL graphics card which Lhttps://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/kyu1qncynguw230thndjm/Links-Caddy-Setup-0.11.5.exe?rlkey=ezoizmxtpkajcv04zsozncr6v&dl=0inks dose not like. from the help in links they tried to send me this . sorry got a bit mixed up but you can see they are suggesting i open this trouble shooter which has an option for installing Voodo? which will fix the mouse trails. i am at a loss what to do.
