CoreDNS as replacement for no-ip/dyndns

Hey there,
since I couldn’t find anything regarding this topic: I’m not very happy about the new structures no-ip is building up with it’s “you have to renew your hostname every month” policy.
So my question is, is it possible to use CoreDNS as a replacement?
Maybe like: update the database → leads to new dns-records.

Best Regards!

I don’t know what services no-ip is providing.

Currently there is no database backend for CoreDNS, only etcd. Of course this could be made, but there are currently no plans to do this.

Thanks for your reply.

You can get a free .tk domain that only has to be renewed once a year at dot.tk
