Combine DNS and HTTP challenge

There is an option to combine the first DNS challenge and only if it’s not successful to do the HTTP challenge?
This is my case, for some customers (95%), I manage their DNS and some customers manage their DNS in other providers and I will need to do them HTTP challenge.
Because of that 5%, I’m doing HTTP to all customers.

Is there is a better alternative for that?

There’s no reason to use the DNS challenge, unless you specifically need wildcard certificates, or your server is not publicly accessible. So using the HTTP challenge is fine.
