Caddy beginner -- entered wrong email on initial setup, now get error 400 constantly - Windows 10 - any help

I keep trying to set up Caddy for the first time, but I entered the email address wrong.

I’ve tried deleting everything in c:\caddy, but whenever I attempt to run it again fresh, it gives me the same errors again.

What can I do to fix this? I’ve tried searching, but it looks like no one is as stupid as me.

registration error: acme: Error 400 - urn:ietf:params:acme:error:invalidEmail - Error creating new account :: not a valid e-mail address

Found the answer for anyone looking in the future, I had to go to

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\.caddy\acme

and delete the wrong email address llisted as folder
