Caddy as a task scheduler through HTTP requests (ping / keepalive)

Continuing the discussion from Using caddy as a task scheduler:

What about relying on the “ping / keep alive” functionality instead? An HTTP request to a given URL would do. Is there a workaround you can think of to achieve the “scheduling” effect with using the available out-of-the-box configuration options?

Since that thread, there’s now a plugin much better equipped to do it:

Do you happen to know if it is battle tested and being used in production? If I understand it correctly, it can also replace PM2?

Those are questions better asked to the author. I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet (I personally don’t have a need for it)
