About the markdown directive

Does the markdown directive follows strict markdown, or is it using blackfriday? Asking to know whether smartypants is also available (haven’t played with the directive yet).

look in the source?

While I think the @miekg’s response is a little short, here’s a link to the markdown directive itself:

https://github.com/mholt/caddy/blob/e5ef285e5919220216bc72daa3269e171cd499ad/caddyhttp/markdown/markdown.go

Looks like it is blackfriday.

Thank you, @klauern! Sorry, was on mobile and couldn’t finish the reply. Would you, or anyone else (not @miekg) know which of the following is configurable?

HTML_SKIP_HTML
HTML_SKIP_STYLE
HTML_SKIP_IMAGES
HTML_SKIP_LINKS
HTML_SAFELINK
HTML_NOFOLLOW_LINKS
HTML_NOREFERRER_LINKS
HTML_HREF_TARGET_BLANK
HTML_TOC
HTML_OMIT_CONTENTS
HTML_COMPLETE_PAGE
HTML_USE_XHTML
HTML_USE_SMARTYPANTS
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_FRACTIONS
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_DASHES
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_LATEX_DASHES
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_ANGLED_QUOTES
HTML_FOOTNOTE_RETURN_LINKS

I tested this. None of the above is enabled or configured, and I do not see a way to configure it. Will this be something people want, and developers willing to implement?
