Does the markdown
directive follows strict markdown
, or is it using blackfriday
? Asking to know whether smartypants
is also available (haven’t played with the directive yet).
look in the source?
While I think the @miekg’s response is a little short, here’s a link to the markdown directive itself:
Looks like it is blackfriday.
Thank you, @klauern! Sorry, was on mobile and couldn’t finish the reply. Would you, or anyone else (not @miekg) know which of the following is configurable?
HTML_SKIP_HTML
HTML_SKIP_STYLE
HTML_SKIP_IMAGES
HTML_SKIP_LINKS
HTML_SAFELINK
HTML_NOFOLLOW_LINKS
HTML_NOREFERRER_LINKS
HTML_HREF_TARGET_BLANK
HTML_TOC
HTML_OMIT_CONTENTS
HTML_COMPLETE_PAGE
HTML_USE_XHTML
HTML_USE_SMARTYPANTS
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_FRACTIONS
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_DASHES
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_LATEX_DASHES
HTML_SMARTYPANTS_ANGLED_QUOTES
HTML_FOOTNOTE_RETURN_LINKS
I tested this. None of the above is enabled or configured, and I do not see a way to configure it. Will this be something people want, and developers willing to implement?
