Tonight I finally got around to pushing some code I’ve been working on related to some of the new Caddy infrastructure.
-
website - GitHub - caddyserver/website: The Caddy website
Currently empty, but this will house the new Caddy website: HTML, CSS/JS, etc. -
devportal - https://github.com/caddyserver/devportal
This is the backend to the website. The logic of the Caddy site, including database of accounts and plugins and deployments. -
buildworker - https://github.com/caddyserver/buildworker
The build worker will be internal-facing and does the heavy lifting when you deploy plugins or request custom builds of Caddy.
All these repos are in a “it barely runs, is highly unfinished, it’s basically a car with only the steering wheel and drivers seat” state, like, first commits. But in the end, these should replace the existing repos of buildsrv and caddyserver.com.
So anyway, these aren’t programs you will have to run, but I wanted to let you know that they’re pushed now and I’m continuing to work on them. @abiosoft is kind enough to help with the container-related things required by the build worker. That should allow us to run go test
on your code without any worries.
