Small markdown Blog, ".Summarize" etc

Hi,
i’m currently trying to set up a minimal markdown blog.

The Markdown example makes use of .Summarize in the index template and I can’t find any Documentation about that ( not even in the go template docs).
In the Index, is there any possibility to access the sitename’s meta variable of the linked site (not the one of the caller…) instead of the summary?

I think the docs are outdated with regards to .Summary – is that what you were referring to?

We took out the site generation features; it was too complicated and out of scope.
