A better forum for that would be the GitHub repository, perhaps as a feature request, where it can be acknowledged and the merit of any possible actual implementation could be discussed.

Looks like this one is good idea - I will open issue on Caddy Github page with this topic - variable to be redefined in config file, and I will wait for Authors’ response. I hope they’ll understand how useful this feature - if implemented - will be
