Caddy usecase / usage guide in private network?

My company has A/CNAME dns service in private network which is not available in public network.
I didn’t have time to get into the details, but it seems that let’s encrypt is not working in private network. Is it just impossible?

Is ther any use case that I can reference?

Hi @aca, welcome to the Caddy community.

LetsEncrypt uses public DNS servers to resolve your domain. This is critical to their service and cannot be worked around.

You will need to make those records public on an authoritative name server if you wish to use Automatic HTTPS with LetsEncrypt’s ACME service.
