Caddy does not listen on port 80

  1. The problem I’m having:
I am trying to reverse proxy using Caddy, I have setup a caddyfile to do exactly that, however when I run Caddy and check it’s status I see this in the output
Feb 22 23:29:58 instance-20210603-2006 caddy[1286196]: {"level":"info","ts":1708644598.1954994,"logger":"http.auto_https","msg":"serv
er is listening only on the HTTPS port but has no TLS connection policies; adding one to enable TLS","server_name":"srv0","https_port
":443}

it can generate certificates and I can access the domain I wish to access through HTTPS, it is secure and has the correct certification, however I understand that Caddy needs to be able to listen to Port 80 also so naturally I would like to ensure Caddy can do that.

  1. Error messages and/or full log output:
    As above in section 1.

  2. Caddy version:
    v7.2.6.

  3. How I installed and ran Caddy:
I installed Caddy using the instruction as they are displayed here:
    Install — Caddy Documentation
and am running it according to the instructions here:
Keep Caddy Running — Caddy Documentation

a. System environment:
Oracle Cloud Free Tier, Canonical Ubuntu 20.04 image, VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro shape with SystemD for my Caddy

b. Command:
I have SystemD installed with my Caddy, upon installation Caddy began running

c. Service/unit/compose file:
SystemD

d. My complete Caddy config:
My Caddy config file is as follows

It’s automatic, you don’t need to do anything.

To be clear, a “server” is an internal thing in Caddy, there can be more than one. This is just saying that “srv0 is listening only on the HTTPS port” but there’s also srv1 which is listening for HTTP.
